Destination: Table Mountains, Aberdare Ranges Duration: 15 Hours (5:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
5:00 AM – Departure from Nairobi Set out early in the morning from a central location in Nairobi for your hiking adventure. Enjoy a peaceful drive through Kenya’s scenic countryside, with the rolling hills of the Aberdares in view as you approach.
8:00 AM – Arrival at the Base of Table Mountains Arrive at the starting point of the hike, where you’ll meet your knowledgeable guide for a comprehensive orientation. Get an overview of the day’s highlights and safety tips to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
8:30 AM – Start the Hike to the First Peak Begin the hike through picturesque trails surrounded by lush montane vegetation. As you ascend, marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the Aberdares and the tranquil sounds of nature.
11:30 AM – Arrival at the First Peak Reach the summit of the first peak and pause to take in the spectacular panoramic views. Capture stunning photos and relax while enjoying a packed picnic lunch amid the serene beauty of the mountains.
