Hotel base: Four nights at The Winchester Hotel, formerly Winchester Mansions, on Beach Road in Sea Point, or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking. It has 78 rooms over four floors, an outdoor pool, a full service spa and a restaurant overlooking the ocean.
Breakfast daily: Breakfast is included every morning. Dinners are left open, because Sea Point and the V&A Waterfront are full of places to eat within walking distance or a short ride.
Flights that fit your dates: Kenya Airways flies direct between JKIA and Cape Town in about five hours and 45 minutes on set days of the week. On other days you fly through Johannesburg on a single ticket, with your bags checked through to Cape Town.
Table Mountain and a harbour sunset: Your return cableway tickets are included, and the same evening you sail out of the V&A Waterfront on a 90 minute sunset cruise with two glasses of sparkling wine each.
The Cape Peninsula in one day: A private driver guide takes the two of you along Chapman's Peak Drive, to the penguin colony at Boulders Beach and to Cape Point, with your park entry fees included.

Flight times vary by date. This plan follows the daily morning connection through Johannesburg, which lands in Cape Town around lunchtime. On days when Kenya Airways flies direct, you leave Nairobi in the late afternoon and land in Cape Town at night, and your planner shifts the first day to match. Your planner confirms the exact flights on your written quote before you pay.
Day 1: Nairobi to Cape Town
Morning: An Early Start Reach JKIA about three hours before your early morning flight with your passports, yellow fever certificates and printed e tickets. Fly to Johannesburg and connect to Cape Town, with your bags checked through.
Afternoon: Into Sea Point Land in Cape Town around lunchtime and meet your driver for the private drive of about 25 minutes to Sea Point. Check in and take a moment by the pool.
Evening: The Promenade Walk the Sea Point promenade along the Atlantic, then choose a dinner spot on Regent Road or back at the hotel.

Day 2: Table Mountain and a Harbour Sunset

Afternoon: The V&A Waterfront Head down to the V&A Waterfront for lunch by the harbour and a slow wander around the quays and the craft stalls at the Watershed.
Evening: Sunset on the Water Board your 90 minute sunset cruise from the Waterfront and sail out into Table Bay with a glass of sparkling wine as the light changes over the mountain. Dinner afterwards is your choice.

Day 3: The Cape Peninsula
Morning: Chapman's Peak After breakfast, your private driver guide collects you for a full day down the peninsula. Drive past Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay, then along Chapman's Peak Drive, a road cut into the cliffs above the sea.
Afternoon: Cape Point and the Penguins Continue into the Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park for Cape Point and its lighthouse, then stop at Boulders Beach in Simon's Town, where African penguins live on the sand between the boulders.
Evening: Back to Sea Point Return to the hotel in the late afternoon and enjoy a quiet evening by the sea.

Day 4: A Day for Two in Franschhoek
Morning: To the Winelands After an early breakfast, take a short ride to the V&A Waterfront and board the coach to Franschhoek, about an hour and a half inland through the vineyards and over the mountains.
Afternoon: Estate to Estate Ride the Franschhoek Wine Tram along the line you choose, hopping off for tastings among the vines and lunch at one of the estates, then catch the coach back to Cape Town in the late afternoon.
