Are you planning a trip to Kenya? Here’s what you need to know about the immigration and visa details for travelers.

Starting from January 1, 2024, you can visit from any country without requiring a visa application to Kenya for tourism or business purposes, provided your stay doesn’t exceed 90 days. In addition, you will be required to obtain a new Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

  • Transit Visa: Ideal if you’re just passing through Kenya on your way to another destination.
  • Multiple Entry Visa: Great for frequent travelers or those planning extended stays.
  • Passport Validity: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your travel date, and make sure you have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.
  • Yellow Fever Certificate: If you’re coming from a yellow fever-endemic country, you’ll need a valid vaccination certificate.
