Affordable Maldives Package from Nairobi | 4 Days 3 Nights
Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives or similar
Four days in the Maldives from Nairobi: three nights in a beach villa on an adults only island, breakfast and dinner every day, a short speedboat ride from the airport and a boat trip in search of dolphins, with your flights in one price.
Affordable Maldives Package from Nairobi: four days and three nights in the Maldives with return economy flights from JKIA through Doha and checked baggage. You land in Malé in the early afternoon and a shared speedboat takes you about 15 to 20 minutes across the lagoon to Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives, an adults only resort on its own island in the North Malé Atoll. You stay three nights in a Lagoon View Beach Villa on the sand, with breakfast and dinner every day.
Your days take in the house reef, a shared boat trip in search of dolphins and a whole day with nothing booked. Kenyan passport holders get their Maldives tourist visa on arrival, but every traveller must file an online traveller declaration before flying and carry a yellow fever certificate, and your planner sorts both with you. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
The Maldives is the trip many couples save the word "someday" for. This package gives that someday a number. The flights, the resort, the boat to the island, your meals and the Maldives green tax come together in one price, so you know exactly what you are saving towards.
We chose a resort close to the airport on purpose. Flights from Nairobi land in Malé in the early afternoon, too late to rely on a seaplane, which only flies in daylight. A speedboat of 15 to 20 minutes means you are on the sand by mid afternoon on the day you land, and on the morning you leave you are at the airport within half an hour of leaving your villa.
The days are paced for two people on holiday. One day holds the reef and the dolphins, one day holds nothing at all, and every evening ends with dinner together. Your planner files your traveller declarations with you, checks your documents and answers on WhatsApp if a flight moves.

About Package
More information about this package
Your resort: Three nights at Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives, an adults only resort on its own island in the North Malé Atoll, or a comparable resort confirmed at booking. The resort has four restaurants, a pool bar, a lobby bar, a spa and a dive and watersports centre.
Your villa: You stay in a Lagoon View Beach Villa of about 45 square metres, set on the sand with the lagoon at your door. It has a lounging area looking out across the water, a king bed or twin beds, a shower, a balcony or terrace, a minibar and free WiFi.
Breakfast and dinner every day: Breakfast is served at Oceans, the main restaurant. At dinner you choose between the international buffet at Oceans and a three course set menu at Suan Bua for Thai food, Al Khaimah for Middle Eastern food or La Brezza for Italian food. Each of you gets two drinks with dinner, one alcoholic and one soft drink. Lunch and other drinks are paid at the resort, or you can add Full Board Plus below.
Flights through Doha: You fly overnight from JKIA to Doha and on to Malé, landing in the early afternoon. On the way home you leave Malé in the morning and land at JKIA the same evening. Malé is two hours ahead of Nairobi.
A speedboat, not a seaplane: The resort sits about 15 to 20 minutes from the airport by speedboat. A resort staff member meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign and takes you to the boat, so there is no waiting for a seaplane that only flies in daylight.
In search of dolphins: One shared boat trip by traditional dhoni in search of dolphins is included. Trips run on the resort's own schedule and the dolphins are wild, so sightings are likely but never promised.
The house reef: The resort's dive team has replanted a coral garden that you can snorkel to from the shore. Snorkel gear can be hired at the resort, or bring your own mask.
Two documents before you fly: Tourist visas are granted on arrival in the Maldives, with no application in advance. Every traveller must file a free Traveller Declaration on the official IMUGA website within 96 hours before arriving and again before leaving, and the Maldives requires a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya. Your planner files the declarations with you. If you do not have a yellow fever card yet, get vaccinated at least 10 days before you travel.
Weather: January to March is the driest time of year. From May to November the southwest monsoon brings more rain, usually as short showers with sunshine in between, and resort prices are often lower.
Drinks and dress: The resort serves alcohol and swimwear is fine anywhere on the island. Malé and the local islands are alcohol free and expect shoulders and knees to be covered, which matters only if you add a visit there. Do not pack alcohol from duty free, as Maldives customs does not allow it into the country.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner sends your e tickets and resort voucher, files your traveller declarations with you, checks your yellow fever certificates and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout the trip.
