Affordable Phuket Package from Nairobi | 6 Days 4 Nights
Chanalai Romantica Resort or similar
Six days in Phuket from Nairobi: Emirates flights through Dubai, your Thai e Visa, four nights at a couples only resort a short walk from Kata Beach, a speedboat day to the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay and a day among the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay, in one price.
Affordable Phuket Package from Nairobi: six days and four nights on Thailand's biggest island with return economy flights on Emirates from JKIA through Dubai, checked baggage and your Thai e Visa fee all taken care of. You stay four nights with breakfast at Chanalai Romantica Resort, a boutique resort for couples only a short walk from Kata Beach, with private airport transfers on arrival and departure. Your days take in a speedboat day to the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay plus a big boat day in Phang Nga Bay with sea canoeing through the caves and a stop at James Bond Island. A further day is kept free in case the weather stops a boat.
Kenyan passport holders need a Thai e Visa, a yellow fever certificate and the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card, and your planner walks you through all three. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Phuket is the Thailand most couples picture: limestone islands rising out of turquoise water, long sandy bays and seafood dinners a few steps from the sea. It is a long way from Nairobi, with no direct flight, so we built this trip to make the journey worth it. You land at midday, you get four full nights on the island, and the flight home leaves in the evening, so your last day is a beach day too.
We base you at Kata on purpose. It is one of the calmer beaches on the west coast, with good restaurants and beach bars within walking distance and none of the late night noise of Patong. Promthep Cape, the island's best known sunset viewpoint, is a short ride south, and the boat tours pick you up from the hotel.
The days are paced for two people on holiday. Two days on the water, each one different: the open sea and white beaches of Phi Phi, then the sheltered caves and lagoons of Phang Nga Bay. The day after is kept free, so if the sea is too rough for a boat, your trip moves rather than disappears. Your planner prepares your e Visa documents with you and answers on WhatsApp if anything changes.

About Package
More information about this package
Your hotel: Four nights at Chanalai Romantica Resort, or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, a boutique resort for couples only at Kata, about 300 metres from Kata Beach. You stay in a Superior Pool View Room of about 40 square metres with a buffet breakfast every morning.
Pool and bar: The resort is built around an outdoor pool with a swim up bar, with its own restaurant, Stardust, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Flights through Dubai: There is no direct flight from Nairobi to Phuket. Emirates leaves JKIA in the afternoon, connects in Dubai overnight and lands in Phuket at midday. The flight home leaves Phuket in the evening, connects in Dubai and lands at JKIA early the next morning. Checked baggage is on your fare.
The Phi Phi Islands: A speedboat day takes you to the Phi Phi Islands, with snorkelling stops, lunch and Maya Bay, the bay made famous by the film The Beach. Swimming is not allowed at Maya Bay, only wading. The national park fee is included, and the boat collects you from the hotel.
Phang Nga Bay: A big boat day takes you among the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay, where you glide by sea canoe through caves into hidden lagoons at Panak and Hong islands, have a buffet lunch on board and stop at James Bond Island. The national park fee is included.
A day held for the weather: Boat trips go ahead only when the captains and the national parks allow them. Your two boat days are followed by a free day, so a cancelled trip moves to it. If a trip cannot run on either day, we refund its part of your price: USD 110 per person for Phi Phi and USD 115 per person for Phang Nga.
Your Thai e Visa: Kenyan passport holders need a visa for Thailand. You apply online at the official Thai e Visa website, and the KES 5,000 single entry tourist visa fee is included in your price. The embassy in Nairobi asks each of you for proof of employment or business ownership, a bank statement stamped by your bank showing at least 20,000 baht each over the past three months, your return flight booking and your hotel booking. It takes at least 15 working days, so apply at least one month before you fly but not more than three months before. Approval rests with the Thai authorities alone.
Yellow fever and arrival card: Thailand requires a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya, checked at the health counter before immigration. Every visitor also completes the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within the three days before landing. Your planner checks both with you before you fly.
Beach safety: Always check the beach flags. A red flag means no swimming, as strong currents can run off the west coast beaches.
Travel cover: Phuket is open and welcoming to visitors. Your flights connect in Dubai, and tension in the Middle East has led to short notice airspace closures in the region this year. We book changeable fares where Emirates offers them, recommend travel insurance that covers flight disruption and medical costs and tell you straight away if official advice changes before you fly.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner prepares your e Visa documents with you, sends your e tickets and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If a boat is cancelled or a flight moves, you message one person instead of four companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Phuket Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Emirates usually leaves JKIA at 16:35, connects in Dubai and lands in Phuket at 12:00 the next day. The flight home usually leaves Phuket at 19:55, connects in Dubai and lands at JKIA at 05:25 the next morning. Your planner confirms the exact times on your written quote before you pay. The boat days run from November to April, when the sea is calmest; Maya Bay closes every year from 1 August to 30 September, and captains or the national parks can cancel a trip on the day, so your planner moves it to the free day.
