Affordable Phuket Couple Getaway from Nairobi | 7 Days 5 Nights
Cape Sienna Gourmet Hotel & Villas or similar
Seven days in Phuket for two: Emirates flights from Nairobi through Dubai, your Thai e Visa, five nights in a sea view room above Kamala Bay, a speedboat day to the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay, sea caves in Phang Nga Bay and a sunset dinner cruise past Promthep Cape, in one price.
Affordable Phuket Couple Getaway from Nairobi: seven days and five nights with return economy flights on Emirates from JKIA through Dubai, checked baggage and your Thai e Visa fee all taken care of. You stay five nights with breakfast in a Sea View Studio at Cape Sienna Gourmet Hotel & Villas, on a headland above Kamala Bay, with private airport transfers on arrival and departure. Your days take in a speedboat day to the Phi Phi Islands and Maya Bay, a day built around the two of you that ends on a sunset dinner cruise past Promthep Cape and a big boat day in Phang Nga Bay with sea canoeing through the caves. A further day is kept free in case the weather stops a boat.
Celebrating something? Turn the trip into an anniversary, a birthday, a proposal or a surprise with one of the occasion upgrades below. Kenyan passport holders need a Thai e Visa, a yellow fever certificate and the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card, and your planner walks you through all three. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Some trips are about seeing a place. This one is about the two of you having time together in one. You get the same flights, e Visa and boat days as our shorter Phuket package, plus an extra night, a room with its own terrace looking over the sea and an evening built entirely around you: a slow day by the pool, then a sunset cruise along the south coast with dinner on board as the sky changes over the Andaman Sea.
We base you at Kamala on purpose. It sits on the quieter stretch of the west coast, north of Patong and far from its late nights, and Cape Sienna looks down over the whole curve of the bay from its headland. The hotel pitches its sea view rooms at couples celebrating anniversaries and honeymooners, and the rooftop bar faces west, so every evening ends with the sea in front of you.
This is also the package to build an occasion on. Anniversaries, birthdays, proposals and surprises all start from the same getaway, and the upgrades below add the moment each one needs. If one of you is planning in secret, your planner keeps every detail between you and them until the right time.

About Package
More information about this package
Your hotel: Five nights at Cape Sienna Gourmet Hotel & Villas, or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, on a headland above Kamala Bay on Phuket's west coast. You stay in a Sea View Studio of about 40 square metres with a private terrace looking out to sea and a buffet breakfast every morning.
Pools and the rooftop: The hotel has two outdoor pools, one with an infinity edge, and Vanilla Sky, a rooftop bar facing west over the bay. Balance Spa is on site for massages and treatments.
Getting to the beach: Kamala Beach is a short taxi ride or a walk of about 15 minutes downhill from the hotel, with beach bars, seafood restaurants and the Kamala night market close by.
Flights through Dubai: There is no direct flight from Nairobi to Phuket. Emirates leaves JKIA in the afternoon, connects in Dubai overnight and lands in Phuket at midday. The flight home leaves Phuket in the evening, connects in Dubai and lands at JKIA early the next morning. Checked baggage is on your fare.
The Phi Phi Islands: A speedboat day takes you to the Phi Phi Islands, with snorkelling stops, lunch and Maya Bay, the bay made famous by the film The Beach. Swimming is not allowed at Maya Bay, only wading. The national park fee is included, and the boat collects you from the hotel.
A day for two: Day four is built around you as a couple. A slow morning by the pool, then a pickup in the afternoon for the Melody sunset dinner cruise from Chalong Pier. The boat sails past Promthep Cape and Krating Cape as the sun goes down, with a welcome drink, a cocktail or mocktail each and a buffet dinner of Thai, barbecue and Indian dishes on board, before your driver takes you back to the hotel.
Phang Nga Bay: A big boat day takes you among the limestone islands of Phang Nga Bay, where you glide by sea canoe through caves into hidden lagoons at Panak and Hong islands, have a buffet lunch on board and stop at James Bond Island. The national park fee is included.
A day held for the weather: Boats sail only when the captains and the national parks allow them. Your boat days are followed by a free day, so a cancelled trip moves to it. If a trip cannot run on either day, we refund its part of your price: USD 110 per person for Phi Phi, USD 115 per person for Phang Nga and USD 125 per person for the dinner cruise.
Your Thai e Visa: Kenyan passport holders need a visa for Thailand. You apply online at the official Thai e Visa website, and the KES 5,000 single entry tourist visa fee is included in your price. The embassy in Nairobi asks each of you for proof of employment or business ownership, a bank statement stamped by your bank showing at least 20,000 baht each over the past three months, your return flight booking and your hotel booking. It takes at least 15 working days, so apply at least one month before you fly but not more than three months before. Approval rests with the Thai authorities alone.
Yellow fever and arrival card: Thailand requires a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya, checked at the health counter before immigration. Every visitor also completes the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within the three days before landing. Your planner checks both with you before you fly.
Beach safety: Always check the beach flags. A red flag means no swimming, as strong currents can run off the west coast beaches.
Travel cover: Phuket is open and welcoming to visitors. Your flights connect in Dubai, and tension in the Middle East has led to short notice airspace closures in the region this year. We book changeable fares where Emirates offers them, recommend travel insurance that covers flight disruption and medical costs and tell you straight away if official advice changes before you fly.
Built for occasions: Anniversary, birthday, proposal and surprise upgrades sit on top of this getaway, so you choose the moment and we arrange it. Secret planning is handled in confidence with whichever partner books.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner prepares your e Visa documents with you, sends your e tickets and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If a boat is cancelled or a flight moves, you message one person instead of four companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Phuket Couple Getaway Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Emirates usually leaves JKIA at 16:35, connects in Dubai and lands in Phuket at 12:00 the next day. The flight home usually leaves Phuket at 19:55, connects in Dubai and lands at JKIA at 05:25 the next morning. Your planner confirms the exact times on your written quote before you pay. The boat days run from November to April, when the sea is calmest; Maya Bay closes every year from 1 August to 30 September, the dinner cruise does not sail on Wednesdays and captains or the national parks can cancel a trip on the day, so your planner sets the days around them and moves a cancelled trip to the free day.
