Affordable Phuket and Phi Phi Package from Nairobi | 6 Days 4 Nights
Chanalai Romantica Resort and PP Princess Resort or similar
Six days in Phuket and the Phi Phi Islands from Nairobi: Emirates flights through Dubai, your Thai e Visa, two nights at Kata Beach, two nights on Phi Phi Don a short walk from the pier, the ferries between them and a private longtail boat to Maya Bay early in the morning, in one price.
Affordable Phuket and Phi Phi Package from Nairobi: six days and four nights with return economy flights on Emirates from JKIA through Dubai, checked baggage and your Thai e Visa fee all taken care of. You spend two nights with breakfast at Chanalai Romantica Resort, a boutique resort for couples only a short walk from Kata Beach, and two nights with breakfast at PP Princess Resort on Loh Dalum Bay, a few minutes on foot from the Phi Phi pier. Private airport transfers, the ferries to and from Phi Phi and a private longtail boat to Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon and Viking Cave are all arranged.
Most visitors see Phi Phi for a few hours on a day boat. You stay on the island, so you see it before the day boats arrive and after they leave. Kenyan passport holders need a Thai e Visa, a yellow fever certificate and the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card, and your planner walks you through all three. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
The Phi Phi Islands are the reason many people come to Phuket at all: cliffs of limestone dropping into clear water, white sand bays and Maya Bay, the beach from the film The Beach. On a day trip you share them with hundreds of other boats between late morning and mid afternoon. Stay two nights on Phi Phi Don and the island changes: quiet bays at breakfast, a hike to the viewpoint as the light goes and dinner in the village once the last ferry has gone.
So this trip is built around two island nights. You land in Phuket at midday and spend your first night at Kata to rest after the flight. The next morning the ferry takes you to Phi Phi, and on your second morning there a private longtail boat takes the two of you to Maya Bay early, before the day boats reach it. You come back to Kata for a last night by the beach and fly home the next evening.
The pace suits two people on holiday: no early alarm on the first morning, one early start for the boat and long afternoons free for the beach. Your planner prepares your e Visa documents with you and stays on WhatsApp if a ferry time changes.

About Package
More information about this package
Your hotels: Two nights at Chanalai Romantica Resort, a boutique resort for couples only at Kata, about 300 metres from Kata Beach, in a Superior Pool View Room of about 40 square metres. Two nights at PP Princess Resort on Phi Phi Don, set in gardens along Loh Dalum Bay, in a Deluxe Room of about 40 square metres with a balcony. Both come with a buffet breakfast every morning, or comparable hotels confirmed at booking.
Your island resort: PP Princess has two outdoor pools and its own restaurants and bars, with the beach at the end of the garden and Tonsai Pier and the village a few minutes away on foot. Phi Phi Don has no cars, so you walk everywhere. Loh Dalum's beach bars stay lively into the night, so the island has an evening as well as a day.
Flights through Dubai: There is no direct flight from Nairobi to Phuket. Emirates leaves JKIA in the afternoon, connects in Dubai overnight and lands in Phuket at midday. The flight home leaves Phuket in the evening, connects in Dubai and lands at JKIA early the next morning. Checked baggage is on your fare.
The ferry to Phi Phi: A shared van collects you from Kata for Rassada Pier, and the big ferry crosses to Tonsai Pier on Phi Phi Don in about two hours. The return ferry brings you back to Rassada in the afternoon and the van takes you back to Kata. The 20 baht island fee is included.
Maya Bay by private longtail: On your second morning on the island, a private longtail boat and its captain take the two of you around Phi Phi Leh: Maya Bay before the day boats arrive, Pileh Lagoon for a swim between the cliffs, Viking Cave from the water and a snorkelling stop. Swimming is not allowed at Maya Bay, only wading. The national park fee and snorkelling gear are included.
A morning held for the weather: Boats sail only when the captains and the national park allow them. If the sea is too rough for the longtail on its morning, it moves to your last morning on the island. If it cannot run on either, we refund USD 110 per person.
Your Thai e Visa: Kenyan passport holders need a visa for Thailand. You apply online at the official Thai e Visa website, and the KES 5,000 single entry tourist visa fee is included in your price. The embassy in Nairobi asks each of you for proof of employment or business ownership, a bank statement stamped by your bank showing at least 20,000 baht each over the past three months, your return flight booking and your hotel bookings. It takes at least 15 working days, so apply at least one month before you fly but not more than three months before. Approval rests with the Thai authorities alone.
Yellow fever and arrival card: Thailand requires a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya, checked at the health counter before immigration. Every visitor also completes the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card online within the three days before landing. Your planner checks both with you before you fly.
Beach safety: Always check the beach flags. A red flag means no swimming, as strong currents can run off the west coast beaches.
Travel cover: Phuket and Phi Phi are open and welcoming to visitors. Your flights connect in Dubai, and tension in the Middle East has led to short notice airspace closures in the region this year. We book changeable fares where Emirates offers them, recommend travel insurance that covers flight disruption and medical costs and tell you straight away if official advice changes before you fly.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner prepares your e Visa documents with you, sends your e tickets, ferry tickets and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If a ferry time changes or a boat is cancelled, you message one person instead of four companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Phuket and Phi Phi Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Emirates usually leaves JKIA at 16:35, connects in Dubai and lands in Phuket at 12:00 the next day. The flight home usually leaves Phuket at 19:55, connects in Dubai and lands at JKIA at 05:25 the next morning. Your planner confirms the exact flight and ferry times on your written quote before you pay. The trip runs from November to April, when the sea is calmest; Maya Bay closes every year from 1 August to 30 September, and captains or the national park can cancel a boat on the day, so your planner moves it to your last morning on Phi Phi.
