Affordable Bali Couple Getaway from Nairobi | 7 Days 5 Nights
Griya Santrian a Beach Resort & Spa and The Udaya Resorts & Spa or similar
Seven days in Bali for two: flights from Nairobi through the Gulf, your e VOA and the Bali tourist levy, two nights on the beach at Sanur, three nights in an Ubud suite with its own pool, a boat day to the cliffs of Nusa Penida, a private day around Ubud and a day for the two of you that ends in a flower bath, in one price.
Affordable Bali Couple Getaway from Nairobi: seven days and five nights with return economy flights from JKIA through Doha or Abu Dhabi, checked baggage, your Indonesian e VOA and the Bali tourist levy all taken care of. You begin with two nights with breakfast at Griya Santrian a Beach Resort & Spa, right on the beach at Sanur, then move up to Ubud for three nights in a Pool Suite at The Udaya Resorts & Spa, with a private pool beside the jungle. Private transfers take you from the airport to Sanur, on to Ubud and back to the airport.
Your days take in a fast boat day to Nusa Penida with Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach, a private driver for a full day around Ubud and a day built around the two of you, with breakfast floating in your pool, a massage each and a flower bath for two at Kaveri Spa. Celebrating something? Turn the trip into an anniversary, a birthday, a proposal or a surprise with one of the occasion upgrades below. Kenyan passport holders need the e VOA, a yellow fever certificate and the free All Indonesia arrival card, and your planner walks you through all three. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Some trips are about seeing a place. This one is about the two of you having time together in one. You get the long flight, the e VOA and the Ubud day of our Bali package, then we change the shape around you: the beach first, a boat day to the island everyone photographs and three nights in the jungle with a pool of your own, ending on a day where nothing is planned except each other.
We start you at Sanur on purpose. It is the calm side of the south coast, a long beach path lined with old trees and small cafes, with a reef that keeps the water gentle and boats that leave from the sand for Nusa Penida. Sanur faces east, so the sunrise is the one worth waking for. After two nights by the sea you drive an hour inland to Ubud, where the air cools, the rice fields begin and your suite looks into the trees.
This is also the package to build an occasion on. Anniversaries, birthdays, proposals and surprises all start from the same getaway, and the upgrades below add the moment each one needs. If one of you is planning in secret, your planner keeps every detail between you and them until the right time.

About Package
More information about this package
Two hotels, two moods: Two nights at Griya Santrian a Beach Resort & Spa in Sanur, then three nights at The Udaya Resorts & Spa near Ubud or comparable hotels confirmed at booking. Breakfast is included at both.
Your beach hotel in Sanur: Griya Santrian sits right on Sanur Beach, in gardens that run down to the sand. You stay in a Deluxe Room with a private terrace and a cushioned daybed and a marble bathroom with a rain shower. The resort has three pools, one by the beach with a sunken bar, a spa and calm water protected by the reef for swimming and kayaking. The airport is about 20 minutes away.
Your pool suite in Ubud: Three nights in a Pool Suite of about 100 square metres at The Udaya, detached from the main building, with a king bed, a private terrace and your own pool beside the jungle. The semi open bathroom has a bathtub that looks out over the pool.
The Udaya: The resort sits in Tegallantang village, about 7 minutes from Ubud centre, with Kaveri Spa, Deeva restaurant and a free shuttle into Ubud and back every two hours from 10am to 10pm.
Flights through the Gulf: There is no direct flight from Nairobi to Bali. Qatar Airways flies every day through Doha and Etihad flies five days a week through Abu Dhabi, each with one change and checked baggage on your fare. You leave JKIA in the afternoon, land in Bali the next day and on the way home land at JKIA early in the morning.
Nusa Penida: A fast boat takes you from Sanur across to Nusa Penida in about 40 minutes. A driver guide takes the two of you to the cliff above Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and Crystal Bay, with lunch at a clifftop restaurant before the boat back in the afternoon.
Ubud with your own driver: A private driver takes the two of you through the Tegallalang rice terraces, Tirta Empul water temple and the Sacred Monkey Forest, with every entrance fee included and time to stop wherever you like.
A day for two: Day six is built around you as a couple. Breakfast is served on a tray floating in your private pool, a service The Udaya offers only in rooms that have their own pool. In the afternoon Kaveri Spa gives each of you a 60 minute Balinese massage, followed by a 45 minute Celebration of Flowers bath for the two of you together.
A day held for the sea: Boats to Nusa Penida sail only when the sea allows. Your Penida day is followed by a slow morning in Sanur, so a cancelled crossing moves to it. If the boats cannot sail on either day, we refund that part of your price, USD 110 per person.
Before you fly: Kenyan passport holders need the Indonesian electronic visa on arrival (e VOA), applied for online at least a week before you fly, a yellow fever certificate and the free All Indonesia arrival card, filed within the three days before you land. The e VOA fee of IDR 500,000 and the Bali tourist levy of IDR 150,000 are included in your price for each of you.
Full entry guide: Every entry rule, with the official links, is explained on our Bali page at baecation.co.ke/bali.
Temple dress: Temples in Bali ask for shoulders and knees to be covered, with a sarong and sash, which are provided at the gate.
Staying safe: Never touch or feed the monkeys at Ubud, as rabies is present in Bali. Stay behind the barriers at the Nusa Penida viewpoints, as the cliff paths are steep and loose. Choose beer or wine over cheap spirits, as counterfeit spirits can contain methanol, and skip the scooter, as your driver handles every included journey.
Travel cover: Bali is open and welcoming to visitors. Your flights connect in the Gulf, where tension has led to short notice airspace closures this year, and volcanic ash from eruptions on Flores, east of Bali, has cancelled Bali flights more than once since late 2024. We book changeable fares where the airline offers them, recommend travel insurance that covers flight disruption and medical costs and tell you straight away if official advice changes before you fly.
Built for occasions: Anniversary, birthday, proposal and surprise upgrades sit on top of this getaway, so you choose the moment and we arrange it. Secret planning is handled in confidence with whichever partner books.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner files your e VOA and Bali levy with you, sends your e tickets and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If a boat is cancelled or a flight moves, you message one person instead of five companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Bali Couple Getaway Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Qatar Airways flies daily: it usually leaves JKIA at 17:00, connects in Doha and lands in Bali at 17:20 the next day, and the flight home usually leaves Bali at 18:50 and lands at JKIA at 07:15 the next morning. Etihad flies on set days through Abu Dhabi, landing in Bali at 11:35 and leaving at 18:45, which gives you a longer first afternoon by the sea. Bali is five hours ahead of Nairobi, and your planner confirms the exact flights on your written quote before you pay. Boats to Nusa Penida depend on the sea on the day, and temples and the Sacred Monkey Forest can close for ceremonies or in storms, so your planner moves stops between days when needed. From November to March, the wet season, showers usually come in the afternoon. Bali airport closes for Nyepi, the Day of Silence, on 8 March 2027.
Day 1: Nairobi to Doha
Morning: Documents in One Folder Put your passports, printed e VOA approvals, yellow fever cards, e tickets and hotel vouchers in one folder for your hand luggage. Evening: Through Doha Land in Doha late in the evening and stay airside for your connection to Bali after midnight.
Overnight: On board Meals: None included
Day 2: Into Bali
Morning: Over the Indian Ocean Sleep through most of the long flight and wake to breakfast on board somewhere over the ocean.

Afternoon: Up to Ubud Check out at noon. Your driver takes you about an hour inland to The Udaya, through villages of stone carvers and woodcarvers. You check in to your pool suite in the afternoon.

Overnight: The Udaya Resorts & Spa or similar Meals: Breakfast

Overnight: The Udaya Resorts & Spa or similar Meals: Breakfast
