Affordable Malaysia Honeymoon Package from Nairobi | 7 Days 5 Nights
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur and Casa del Mar, Langkawi or similar
Seven days in Malaysia for newlyweds: Qatar Airways flights through Doha, no visa to apply for, two nights at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur beside the Petronas Twin Towers, then three nights at Casa del Mar on Cenang Beach in Langkawi, with the cable car into the rainforest, a sunset cruise and your own boat through the mangroves, in one price.
Affordable Malaysia Honeymoon Package from Nairobi: seven days and five nights with return economy flights from JKIA through Doha on Qatar Airways, checked baggage on your fare and Malaysia Airlines flights between Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi. Kenyan passport holders need no visa for Malaysia, so there is no visa fee and no embassy queue. You begin with two nights with breakfast at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, a short walk from the Petronas Twin Towers, then fly to the island of Langkawi for three nights with breakfast in a Seaview Studio Suite at Casa del Mar, a small hotel on Cenang Beach.
Your days take in Batu Caves, the Skybridge between the towers in the early evening, the SkyCab cable car and the Sky Bridge above the Langkawi rainforest, a sunset cruise on the Andaman Sea with a barbecue dinner and drinks on board and a private boat through the mangroves and limestone of Kilim Geoforest Park. You need a yellow fever certificate and the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card, and your planner walks you through both. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotels, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
The best Malaysian honeymoons have two halves. The first is Kuala Lumpur, all towers, food streets and city lights. The second is Langkawi, an island of rainforest, limestone and warm sea in the far north west, an hour's flight away. You get both in one trip, with the city first while you have energy and the island last so the honeymoon ends slow.
We timed it for the weather Kenyan couples travel in. From December to March, while Kuala Lumpur has its short afternoon storms, Langkawi is in its driest months, with calm seas for the cruise and clear mornings for the cable car. Your two nights in the city are at Grand Hyatt, a few minutes on foot from the towers. Your three nights on the island are at Casa del Mar, a small hotel of 34 rooms at the quieter end of Cenang Beach, where breakfast is served by the sand.
On the island we keep the plan light. One morning in the mountains, one evening on the water, one morning in the mangroves and plenty of time on the beach in between. The rest of Langkawi is yours to find together.

About Package
More information about this package
Your city hotel: Two nights at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur on Jalan Pinang or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, in a room of about 47 square metres with a king bed, floor to ceiling windows and a view towards the Petronas Twin Towers, with breakfast every morning. The hotel has an outdoor pool, Essa Spa and THIRTY8, a restaurant and bar on level 38 with views all round the city. Check in is from 3pm and check out is at noon.
Your island hotel: Three nights at Casa del Mar, Langkawi or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking. You stay in a Seaview Studio Suite of about 42 square metres with a private courtyard and daybed, looking over the pool towards the sea and the beach, with breakfast every morning at La Sal, the hotel's restaurant by the beach.
Casa del Mar: A small hotel of 34 rooms a short walk from the sand of Cenang Beach, with an outdoor pool and pool bar, La Sal restaurant and Satkara Spa. Children under 15 are not accepted, so the hotel stays calm. Langkawi airport is about ten minutes away by car and check out is at noon.
Flights through Doha: There is no direct flight from Nairobi to Kuala Lumpur. Qatar Airways flies every day through Doha with one change and checked baggage on your fare. Malaysia Airlines flies between Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi in about an hour, and your planner books those flights on the same ticket as Qatar Airways where the fares allow, so your bags can go straight through.
Batu Caves: A shared half day takes you to Batu Caves, where 272 rainbow coloured steps climb to a vast limestone cave temple, with a stop at a batik workshop on the way.
The Petronas Twin Towers: Your early evening tickets take you across the Skybridge between the two towers, about 170 metres above the ground, then on to the observation deck on level 86 as the city lights come on.
SkyCab and the Sky Bridge: Your driver takes you to the Panorama Langkawi SkyCab, which climbs Mount Mat Cincang above the rainforest. At the top you ride the SkyGlide down to the Sky Bridge, a curved walkway hanging over the forest with the sea and islands below.
The sunset cruise: Your boat sails from 5pm to 8pm along the coast as the sun goes down, with a barbecue buffet and salad bar, an open bar with beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks and a saltwater jacuzzi on board. Return transfers from your hotel are included.
Kilim mangroves: A private boat takes the two of you for three hours through Kilim Geoforest Park, past limestone cliffs and mangrove channels, to watch the eagles, step into the Bat Cave and stop at a floating fish farm.
Days held for the weather: The cable car closes in heavy rain, strong wind or lightning and for scheduled maintenance. Your mangrove morning is followed by a free afternoon, so a closed cable car day moves to it. If rain stops the sunset cruise, it moves to your last evening on the island. If it cannot sail on either evening, we refund that part of your price, USD 100 per person.
Before you fly: Kenyan passport holders need no visa for stays of up to 30 days, but each of you needs a passport valid for at least six months, a yellow fever certificate and the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card, filed within the three days before you land. Carry your return tickets, hotel vouchers and a bank card, as immigration officers can ask to see them. The island flights are domestic, so there is no second immigration check.
Full entry guide: Every entry rule, with the official links, is explained on our Kuala Lumpur page at baecation.co.ke/kuala-lumpur.
Dress for the caves: Cover shoulders and knees at Batu Caves. Light trousers or a long skirt and a top with sleeves work well. Swimwear is for the hotel pool, the beach and the boats, with a cover up for walking through town.
Staying safe: Keep food and loose items in a closed bag at Batu Caves, where the monkeys grab them. Use Grab or metered taxis. Choose beer or wine over cheap spirits, as counterfeit spirits can contain methanol. Swim only in calm water and follow any warning flags on the beach.
Travel cover: Your flights connect in the Gulf, where tension has led to short notice airspace closures this year. We book changeable fares where the airline offers them, recommend travel insurance that covers flight disruption and medical costs and tell you straight away if official advice changes before you fly.
Just married: Malaysia does not ask for a marriage certificate. We tell both hotels you are on honeymoon, and any gift or gesture they offer is at their discretion and not guaranteed.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner checks your documents with you, sends your e tickets and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If a flight moves or the rain changes a day, you message one person instead of five companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Malaysia Honeymoon Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Qatar Airways flies daily: it usually leaves JKIA at 17:00, connects in Doha and lands in Kuala Lumpur at about 14:40 the next day, and the flight home usually leaves Kuala Lumpur at about 19:55 and lands at JKIA at 07:15 the next morning. Malaysia Airlines usually flies from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi at about 13:00 and back at about 14:45, with earlier flights on some days. Winter schedules change from late October and late March, so your planner confirms the exact flights on your written quote before you pay. Malaysia is five hours ahead of Nairobi. The Petronas Twin Towers close on Mondays except on public holidays, so your tower evening never falls on a Monday and your planner swaps days when needed. Batu Caves is at its busiest for Thaipusam on 22 January 2027. The SkyCab and the sunset cruise depend on the weather on the day.
