Affordable Singapore and Kuala Lumpur Package from Nairobi | 7 Days 5 Nights
Carlton Hotel Singapore and Impiana KLCC Hotel
Seven days and two cities from Nairobi: Qatar Airways flights through Doha, no visa for either country, three nights in Singapore with Gardens by the Bay, a river cruise and the SkyPark, a short flight north, then two nights by the Petronas Twin Towers with Batu Caves and the Skybridge, in one price.
Affordable Singapore and Kuala Lumpur Package from Nairobi: seven days and five nights with economy flights from JKIA to Singapore and home from Kuala Lumpur on Qatar Airways through Doha, a Malaysia Airlines flight between the two cities and checked baggage on your fares. Kenyan passport holders need no visa for Singapore or Malaysia, so there are no visa fees and no embassy queues. You stay three nights with breakfast at Carlton Hotel Singapore on Bras Basah Road, then two nights with breakfast at Impiana KLCC Hotel, a short walk from the Petronas Twin Towers, with private airport transfers in both cities.
Your days take in the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay, a bumboat cruise on the Singapore River, the SkyPark Observation Deck at Marina Bay Sands as the lights come on, Kampong Glam and Little India, Batu Caves and the Skybridge between the Petronas Twin Towers. You need yellow fever certificates, the free SG Arrival Card and the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card. Your planner walks you through all three. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotels, transfers and every experience listed below. One Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Singapore and Kuala Lumpur sit an hour apart by air and could hardly feel more different. Singapore is polished and green, with gardens that glow at night and a river lined with old shophouses below the towers. Kuala Lumpur is bigger, louder and cheaper, with food streets that fill up after dark and the Petronas Twin Towers above it all. Seeing both in one trip is the easiest way to get two countries out of one long flight.
We fly you into Singapore and home from Kuala Lumpur, so you never double back. Qatar Airways carries you out and home through Doha. A Malaysia Airlines flight of about an hour and ten minutes joins the two cities in the middle of the trip. Neither country asks Kenyan passport holders for a visa.
The hotels follow the same idea. In Singapore you stay at the Carlton on Bras Basah Road, a walk from the Esplanade and Marina Bay, where hotels cost the most. In Kuala Lumpur, where your money goes further, you stay at Impiana KLCC, a few minutes on foot from the towers and KLCC Park.

About Package
More information about this package
Your Singapore hotel: Three nights at Carlton Hotel Singapore on Bras Basah Road or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, in a Deluxe Room of 30 square metres with a king bed, a rain shower and a separate toilet, with breakfast every morning. The hotel has an outdoor pool, Café Mosaic, Wah Lok for Cantonese food and TUX Bar and Lounge. Check in is from 3pm and check out is at noon.
Your Kuala Lumpur hotel: Two nights at Impiana KLCC Hotel on Jalan Pinang or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, in a Deluxe Room of about 36 square metres with a king bed and a city view, with breakfast every morning. The hotel has an outdoor infinity pool with a poolside bar and a spa. Check in is from 2pm and check out is at noon. The hotel asks that the guest who checks in is at least 21.
Flights: There is no direct flight from Nairobi to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. Qatar Airways flies every day through Doha with one change and checked baggage on your fare. You leave JKIA in the afternoon, land in Singapore the next afternoon and on the way home leave Kuala Lumpur in the evening and land at JKIA early in the morning. In between, Malaysia Airlines flies you from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in about an hour and ten minutes.
Gardens by the Bay: Your tickets take you into the Flower Dome, the largest glass greenhouse in the world, then the Cloud Forest, a misty indoor mountain with a waterfall. In the evening Garden Rhapsody lights up the Supertrees with music at 7.45pm and 8.45pm, free of charge.
The river and the SkyPark: A 40 minute bumboat cruise carries you from Clarke Quay past the shophouses of Boat Quay to Marina Bay. From there you walk to Marina Bay Sands for the SkyPark Observation Deck, 56 storeys above the bay, as the city lights come on.
Batu Caves: A shared half day takes you to Batu Caves on the edge of Kuala Lumpur, where 272 rainbow coloured steps climb to a vast limestone cave temple, with a stop at a batik workshop on the way.
The Petronas Twin Towers: Your early evening tickets take you across the Skybridge between the two towers, about 170 metres above the ground, then on to the observation deck on level 86 as the city lights come on.
If the rain comes: The SkyPark deck is open to the sky and can close for a while in extreme rain or lightning. Your last evening in Singapore is held as a second chance. If it cannot open on either evening, we refund that part of your price, USD 45 per person.
Before you fly: Kenyan passport holders need no visa for Singapore or Malaysia, but each of you needs a passport valid for at least six months and a yellow fever certificate, which both countries check. Submit the free SG Arrival Card within the three days before you land in Singapore and the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card within the three days before you land in Kuala Lumpur. Carry your onward and return tickets, hotel vouchers and a bank card, as immigration officers in both countries can ask to see them.
Full entry guides: Every entry rule, with the official links, is explained on our Singapore page at baecation.co.ke/singapore and our Kuala Lumpur page at baecation.co.ke/kuala-lumpur.
Local rules: In Singapore, eating and drinking are not allowed on the MRT or public buses, smoking is only allowed in marked areas and littering is fined. In Kuala Lumpur, keep food and loose items in a closed bag at Batu Caves, where the monkeys grab them.
Dress for the mosque and the caves: Cover shoulders and knees at the Sultan Mosque in Singapore, where robes are provided, as well as at Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur.
Staying safe: Both cities are busy and welcoming. Use Grab or metered taxis, drink plenty of water in the heat and wear mosquito repellent, as dengue is present in both countries. Choose beer or wine over cheap spirits in Malaysia, as counterfeit spirits can contain methanol.
Travel cover: Your flights connect in the Gulf, where tension has led to short notice airspace closures this year. We book changeable fares where the airline offers them, recommend travel insurance that covers flight disruption and medical costs and tell you straight away if official advice changes before you fly.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner checks your documents with you, sends your e tickets and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If a flight moves or the rain changes a day, you message one person instead of five companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Singapore and Kuala Lumpur Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Qatar Airways flies daily: it usually leaves JKIA at 17:00, connects in Doha and lands in Singapore at about 15:00 the next day. Malaysia Airlines usually flies from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur at about 11:05, landing at about 12:25, with earlier and later flights through the day. The flight home usually leaves Kuala Lumpur at about 19:55 and lands at JKIA at 07:15 the next morning. Winter schedules change from late October and late March, so your planner confirms the exact flights on your written quote before you pay. Both cities are five hours ahead of Nairobi.
