1. Definitions

  • “Company,” “We,” “Us,” “Our” refers to Baecation Adventures Kenya or Baecation Adventures Limited.
  • “Client,” “Customer,” “You,” “Your” refers to the person or people booking or using our services.
  • “Services” refers to all romantic getaway packages, hotel bookings, transport arrangements, activities, and travel planning services offered by Baecation Adventures Kenya.
  • “Partners” refers to hotels, resorts, drivers, tour operators, and any third-party service providers we work with.

 

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a package, making a payment, using our website, or interacting with our services, you acknowledge that you:

  1. Have read and understood these Terms.
  2. Agree to be bound by them.
  3. Are above 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a contract.

 

3. Scope of Services

Baecation Adventures Kenya provides:

  1. Romantic Getaway Packages
  2. Honeymoon Packages
  3. Anniversary and Proposal Packages
  4. Romantic Adventure & Sports Activities
  5. Transport and Chauffeur Services
  6. Hotel & Resort Bookings
  7. Custom Itinerary Planning

We act as both a planning agency and a booking facilitator, depending on the request.

 

4. Booking & Payment Policy

4.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once:

You receive a formal confirmation message from our team, AND

The required deposit or full payment is received.

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept:

M-Pesa and Till number

Bank Transfer – Equity Bank KES or USD

Card Payments (Pesapal, which has an additional 4% bank charges)

USD Payments (for international clients)

4.3 Deposit Requirements

Most packages require a minimum 50% deposit to secure reservations.

Safari packages and peak-season bookings may require full payment up front.

4.4 Outstanding Balances

All balances must be cleared before the travel date unless otherwise agreed.

5. Pricing Policy

  • All prices listed are per couple, unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may change due to hotel rates, fuel fluctuations, taxes, or third-party changes.
  • Once a booking is confirmed with payment, price changes will not affect that booking.

 

6. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

6.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellation charges depend on the provider’s rules:

3–6 days before the trip Up to 20% refund
Less than 72 hours No refund

Note: Refund amounts depend on hotel and service provider policies, which may be stricter during peak seasons.

6.2 Rescheduling

  • We allow rescheduling depending on availability.
  • Additional fees may apply based on provider policies.

6.3 Company-Initiated Cancellations

If Baecation Adventures must cancel due to unavoidable circumstances (weather, safety, political unrest, overbooking, etc.), clients will receive:

  • A reschedule option OR
  • A full refund of the affected service

We are not responsible for any indirect losses, such as flight cancellation penalties.

 

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  1. Provide accurate personal details.
  2. Share correct travel dates and preferences.
  3. Respect hotel and partner rules.
  4. Be punctual for pickups, transfers, and scheduled activities.
  5. Communicate any concerns in advance.

Baecation Adventures Kenya is not responsible for inconveniences caused by:

  1. Late arrival
  2. Incorrect information
  3. Failure to follow instructions

 

8. Activity Participation & Risk Acknowledgement

Certain romantic adventures (boat rides, marine excursions, hikes, quad biking, skydiving, dhow cruises, etc.) carry inherent risks.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  1. You are fit to join the activity.
  2. You understand the risks involved.
  3. You agree to follow all safety instructions.

Baecation Adventures Kenya is not liable for injuries caused by:

  1. Negligence on the part of the client
  2. Ignoring safety guidelines
  3. Actions of third-party providers

 

9. Third-Party Providers

We work with trusted partners to deliver hotel stays, transport, activities, and adventures.

Since these partners operate independently:

  1. Baecation Adventures is not responsible for service disruptions outside our control.
  2. Refunds and compensations follow the partner’s policies.
  3. We will, however, provide full support to resolve any issues.

 

10. Travel Documents & Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have:

  1. Valid identification
  2. Passports (for international guests)
  3. Park entry fees (where applicable)
  4. COVID or health-related documents, if required

 

11. Photography & Marketing Use

With your consent:

  1. We may use photos or videos taken during your trip for marketing.
  2. We will never share private photos without permission.
  3. Clients may opt out at any time.

 

12. Website Usage & Content

All website content—including images, logos, blog content, designs, and branding—is the intellectual property of Baecation Adventures Kenya.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, republish, or resell any content without written consent.

 

13. Privacy & Data Protection

We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not share client information with third parties except when necessary to process bookings.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

Baecation Adventures Kenya is not liable for:

  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Delays caused by weather or traffic
  • Injuries during adventure activities
  • Acts of God, strikes, or political disturbances
  • Issues arising from third-party providers

Our total liability shall not exceed the cost of the booked package.

 

15. Complaints & Feedback

We value every couple’s experience.
All complaints must be reported to our team within 24 hours of the issue for immediate assistance.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Any disputes shall be settled through negotiation and, if necessary, the Kenyan courts.

17. Amendments

Baecation Adventures reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
