One night at Outspan Hotel, or similar. A historic property on Outspan Road in Nyeri town, set in mature gardens with views toward Mount Kenya on clear mornings; it's also where Baden-Powell kept his cottage and is buried, giving the first evening a quiet, storied backdrop before the main event.
One night at Treetops, or similar. The lodge is reached only by a mandatory transfer in the lodge's own vehicle from Outspan, with a fixed early-afternoon departure and no self-driving permitted, so this is genuinely part of the experience and not just a logistics note.
Floodlit waterhole viewing included. Treetops' rooms and public decks look directly onto its own waterhole and salt lick, lit through the night, with a buzzer system that wakes guests if larger game come down to drink.
Private return transfer. Road transport only for this route; Nairobi to Nyeri is roughly 150 km via Karatina on the A2, about two and a half to three hours each way, handled door to door rather than on a shared shuttle.
Mount Kenya foothills and tea country scenery on the drive up. The A2 climbs steadily through tea estates from Karatina into Nyeri, so the transfer itself becomes part of the honeymoon rather than dead time.
Aberdare National Park entry included in the Treetops transfer arrangement. Park fees themselves are payable on request and not bundled into the headline price, but the transfer logistics through the park gate are handled for you.

Day 1 — Pickup: 8:00 AM from your Nairobi address or hotel.
Morning: Your Bamm Tours driver collects you in Nairobi and heads north on the A2. Once you clear Karatina the road climbs into tea country, and the green terraces either side of the car are as much a part of this morning as anywhere you'll stop. Expect to reach Nyeri by late morning.
Afternoon: Check in to Outspan Hotel and take the rest of the day slowly. Walk the gardens, take in the Mount Kenya view if the clouds cooperate, and if either of you wants a quiet moment, Baden-Powell's cottage and grave are on the grounds, a small, unhurried piece of history to wander past.
Evening: Dinner at Outspan, then an early night. Tomorrow's transfer up to Treetops has a fixed departure time and you'll want to be rested for it.
Day 2
Morning: A relaxed breakfast at Outspan before you're transferred to Treetops in the lodge's own vehicle, part of the experience rather than a formality, since no one is allowed to self-drive up.
Afternoon: Settle into your room at Treetops and spend the afternoon on the viewing decks. Elephant, buffalo, and forest birds move through the clearing below at their own pace, and there's no schedule to keep beyond being present for it.
Evening: Dinner at the lodge, then the part of the honeymoon that gives the whole trip its shape: watching the floodlit waterhole after dark, with the buzzer system on standby in case something larger comes down to drink while you sleep.
Day 3
Morning: A last look at the waterhole in daylight, breakfast at the lodge, and the transfer back down to Outspan to collect any luggage left behind.
Afternoon: Depending on departure time, a final stop at a tea plantation viewpoint on the way out of Nyeri, then the drive back to Nairobi, arriving mid to late afternoon.
