4 days is enough time to actually get a feel for the region rather than rush through it. A full day inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy for the northern white rhinos and the chimpanzee sanctuary. Thirdly, a long unhurried lunch at Trout Tree Restaurant above the Burguret River, and, if you want it, a real option to spend one night inside the conservancy itself rather than just visiting by day.
It's based out of Nanyuki town for the bulk of the stay, which keeps the core price genuinely affordable, while still leaving room to add the one splurge night that gives Laikipia its reputation, entirely on your terms.

Three nights at Falcon Heights Hotel, Nanyuki, or similar, as your base. A well reviewed hotel in Nanyuki town with a pool, small gym, and breakfast included, central for day trips to Ol Pejeta and the surrounding area.
A full day inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Entry includes the northern white rhino sanctuary, home to Najin and Fatu, the last two northern white rhinos on the planet, and the chimpanzee sanctuary, alongside resident Big Five game.
Lunch at Trout Tree Restaurant built into one of the free days. A real, well known dining spot on the Burguret River, lunch only, 10 AM to 4:45 PM, closed Mondays.
A genuine option to sleep inside the conservancy. Unlike the shorter packages, the vacation length gives real room to add a "Sleep in the Conservancy" night at River Camp or similar without disrupting the rest of the itinerary, priced separately and entirely optional.
Private return transfer via Bamm Tours for the full route. Road only, roughly 195 km from Nairobi via Thika and Karatina on the A2, about three to four hours each way.
Optional Mount Kenya foothills day. The Chogoria Route day trip or the Mackinders Hiking Safari are both bookable if you want a more active day built into the extra time.

The package itinerary is as follows

Day 1
8:00 AM — Pickup from your Nairobi address or hotel, departure north on the A2.
12:00 PM — Arrival in Nanyuki, check in to Falcon Heights.
1:00 PM to 5:00 PM — Free time: pool, courtyard, a walk around town.
7:00 PM — Dinner in Nanyuki town.
Day 2
7:00 AM — Breakfast, then the drive to Ol Pejeta's gate.
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM — Rhino sanctuary visit and game drive.
1:00 PM — Lunch on request, then the chimpanzee sanctuary in the afternoon.
5:00 PM — Return to Nanyuki, evening free.
Day 3
8:00 AM — Breakfast, then a late morning drive out to Trout Tree Restaurant.
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM — Lunch above the Burguret River.
4:00 PM — Return to Nanyuki, or, if the "Sleep in the Conservancy" upgrade is booked, transfer to River Camp or similar for the night instead.
Evening free, or dinner at the conservancy camp if the upgrade is booked.
Day 4
7:30 AM — Breakfast, optional Mackinders Hiking Safari or Chogoria day hike if pre-booked, otherwise a relaxed morning.
12:00 PM — Check out and departure for Nairobi.
Arrival back in Nairobi mid to late afternoon.
