Depending on the season, we can plan around the riverine forest near the Mara River crossings, a quieter, greener setting than open savanna and a striking backdrop of its own, or another private spot your guide knows well.
We keep the logistics simple and discreet, so all you have to think about is the question.

Private vehicle and private driver-guide throughout, briefed to help you find and time a private, unhurried moment away from other vehicles, not just drive a standard route.
Two nights at Keekorok Lodge, or similar, inside the reserve. Keekorok sits on 80 acres in the path of the Great Migration, with a resident hippo pool, guest pool and deck, roughly 3.7 km from Keekorok Airstrip, genuinely inside the park.
Riverine forest setting available near the Mara River. Away from the open plains, the tree-lined stretches near the river crossing points offer a quieter, more intimate backdrop, worth discussing with your guide when you book if this is the setting you want.
Two private game drives a day, timed and routed around finding a genuinely quiet spot, not a fixed stop shared with other guests.
Migration-season consideration (July to October). If your dates fall in this window, the Mara River crossings are dramatic but also busy with other vehicles; your guide can advise whether to lean into the crossing action or seek out a quieter riverine spot instead, depending on what fits the moment you want.
Honest road transfer timing. Nairobi to Keekorok Lodge is approximately 270 km, roughly 5 to 6 hours by road via Narok town and Sekenani Gate, tarmac most of the way with murram track inside the reserve.
Flight alternative available. Safarilink, AirKenya, Fly540 and Jambo Jet fly Wilson Airport to Mara airstrips in about 45 to 60 minutes, useful if you would rather arrive fresh and not road-weary for the day you are planning.
Photographer available on standby, briefed only on your signal, so the moment can be captured without your partner knowing beforehand.

Day 1: Settling In
Pickup: 6:00 AM from your Nairobi residence or hotel.
Morning Departure at 6:00 AM for the drive to the Mara, about 270 km and 5 to 6 hours via Narok town and Sekenani Gate, with a stop along the way to stretch.
Afternoon Arrival at Keekorok Lodge in the early afternoon. Settle in, have lunch, and take a first, low-key game drive to get a feel for the terrain and let your guide start scouting quiet spots.
Evening Dinner at the lodge. If you would like to discuss timing or setting for the proposal privately with your guide, this is a good moment, away from your partner, to confirm the plan.
Day 2: The Day
Morning A morning game drive with your guide leading you gently toward the setting you have planned, whether that is a riverine stretch near the Mara River or another quiet spot they know well.
Afternoon Time back at the lodge, or a lighter drive, depending on how you have timed the moment. Some couples prefer a morning proposal followed by a relaxed rest of the day, others build toward an evening moment instead.
Evening Your private moment, arranged around the setting and timing you have chosen with your guide, followed by a quiet dinner at the lodge to let it sink in.
Day 3: The Rest of the Story
Morning A relaxed final game drive, now as an engaged couple, before checkout.
Afternoon Breakfast, checkout, and the drive back to Nairobi, arriving late afternoon to early evening.
