A birthday does not have to mean a dinner out and an early night. This package flies you from Nairobi to Malindi in just over an hour on Jambojet, with a transfer waiting to carry you the short drive up the coast into Watamu, so you are on the beach and celebrating almost as soon as you land.
You will stay at Ocean Sports Hotel, a long-standing beachfront property with a relaxed, sailing-club feel, comfortable rooms, a good pool, and water sports on site, right on the sand and close to the marine park.
Two full days is enough time to actually enjoy the occasion: a boat out to the reef, a change of scene at the Bio-Ken Snake Farm or the Kipepeo Butterfly Project, a couples spa treatment, and a private dinner or sunset dhow to close out the day itself.

Return flights, Nairobi (JKIA) to Malindi, on Jambojet. Nonstop, about 1 hour 15 minutes, with roughly 25 flights a week on this route.
An airport transfer from Malindi Airport to Watamu on arrival, and a return transfer from Watamu back to Malindi Airport at the end of your stay. A short, scenic drive up the coast each way, roughly 25 to 30 minutes, arranged for you.
Half-board accommodation, 2 nights, at Ocean Sports Hotel. Breakfast and dinner included, with lunch left open to explore Watamu's beachfront restaurants such as Papa Remo and Karibu Flavors. The hotel sits directly on the beach with a pool, a relaxed sailing-club atmosphere, and water sports available on site.

Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
3-Day Flying Birthday Itinerary to Watamu with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi.
Day 1: Arrival, By Air A Jambojet flight lifts off from Nairobi's JKIA and touches down at Malindi Airport a little over an hour later. A transfer carries you the short drive north into Watamu, roughly 25 to 30 minutes, and by early afternoon you are checking in at Ocean Sports Hotel, right on the beach. The rest of the day is yours: a first swim, a walk along the sand, and a relaxed dinner as the sun goes down.
Day 2: Watamu, Your Day A full day built around the occasion. Spend the morning on the water with a Watamu Marine National Park boat trip or a snorkel over the reef, or head inland for something different: the Bio-Ken Snake Farm for a guided look at some of East Africa's most striking reptiles, the Kipepeo Butterfly Project near Gede for a walk through a working butterfly farm, or the Mida Creek Boardwalk for an easy walk out over the mangroves with some of the best birdwatching on this coast.
Add a couples spa treatment in the afternoon, and as evening comes, step aboard a sunset dhow across Mida Creek, or have us set up a private dinner on the beach to close out the day properly.
Day 3: One Last Morning, Then Home Sleep in, take a final swim, or have a slow breakfast by the water before your transfer back to Malindi Airport for the flight home. You land back at JKIA by early evening, birthday done right.
