Samburu, Amboseli & Mombasa Safari – Special 5, Kilimanjaro Views & Indian Ocean | 8 Days 7 Nights
Samburu Sopa Lodge (Samburu) + Amboseli Sopa Lodge (Amboseli) + Severin Sea Lodge (Mombasa)
Bush & Beach Kenya Safaris
Kenya does not do things in half measures. A country that contains both the greatest wildlife spectacle on Earth and some of the Indian Ocean's most beautiful coastline deserves to be experienced fully — and this 8-day safari is built to do exactly that.
You begin in Nairobi, where the city itself is part of the story — home to the only national park with a skyline, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage where orphaned baby elephants are raised back to wildness, and the Giraffe Centre where Rothschild's giraffes take food from your hand on the platform. Then north into the heat and drama of Samburu National Reserve — Kenya's wild north, where the Ewaso Ng'iro River threads through ancient lava rock and the animals you find here exist almost nowhere else on Earth. The Samburu Special Five: Grevy's zebra with its extraordinary ears, the reticulated giraffe painted like stained glass, the gerenuk standing on its hind legs to browse, the Beisa oryx, the Somali ostrich.
South then to Amboseli — where the elephant herds move across the open plains in large family groups with Kilimanjaro rising impossibly close behind them, snow-capped above the equator. Two days here, with a Maasai cultural visit woven between the game drives. And finally east to Mombasa, where the Indian Ocean waits — Fort Jesus, the winding streets of the Old Town, fresh seafood, white sand, and the chance to slow down and simply breathe.
This is Kenya in full. Safari by day. Ocean by night. Eight days that will take you from the driest corner of northern Kenya to the warmest corner of its coast — and leave you understanding, finally, why this country is unlike anywhere else on Earth.

About Package
More information about this package
Samburu Sopa Lodge — elevated hillside views over the reserve: Perched on a hill outside the Samburu National Reserve with panoramic views of the Samburu shrublands and surrounding hills, Samburu Sopa Lodge features 60 rooms across thatched-roof cottages inspired by traditional Samburu huts. The elevated restaurant overlooks a waterhole where wildlife congregates, and the lodge is accessible by road or by scheduled flight to Samburu Oryx Airstrip.
The Samburu Special Five — found almost nowhere else on Earth: Samburu National Reserve is one of the only places in Kenya where you can see the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich in a single game drive. These five species are endemic to Kenya's arid north — and Samburu's Ewaso Ng'iro River, which draws them to water year-round, is your most reliable access point.
Amboseli Sopa Lodge — Kilimanjaro at your doorstep: Set inside Amboseli National Park with direct access to the park's famous swamp ecosystem, Amboseli Sopa Lodge positions you for the classic Amboseli experience — large elephant herds crossing the open plains with Kilimanjaro rising behind them. The park's underground springs, fed by the mountain's glaciers, sustain one of the highest wildlife concentrations in Kenya.
Severin Sea Lodge, Bamburi Beach — Mombasa's most romantic coastal retreat: Your final destination is Severin Sea Lodge on Bamburi Beach — a 4-star property set in lush tropical gardens with two swimming pools, direct beach access, and hand-carved wooden furniture in every room. After seven days of safari, the Indian Ocean is exactly what you need. Fort Jesus, the Old Town, and the ancient spice routes of Swahili Mombasa are a 20-minute drive away.
David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage & Giraffe Centre — Nairobi's conservation heart: Your journey begins with two of Nairobi's most moving experiences — the elephant orphanage where rescued baby elephants are bottle-fed and gradually reintegrated into the wild, and the Giraffe Centre where the endangered Rothschild's giraffe takes food from your hand at eye level. Both are essential Nairobi experiences that set the tone for everything that follows.
A complete Kenya — wildlife, culture, coast: No other 8-day package moves through Kenya's geographic and ecological range this completely. Northern semi-arid reserve, highland national park, Indian Ocean coastline — three completely different worlds, each with its own wildlife, its own culture, and its own way of showing you what Kenya is made of.
