Affordable Doha and Maldives Package from Nairobi | 6 Days 5 Nights
Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives and Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli
Six days, two very different places: three nights in a beach villa on an adults only island in the Maldives, then two nights in old Doha on the way home, with your Qatar Airways flights and Qatar visa from Nairobi in one price.
Affordable Doha and Maldives Package from Nairobi: six days and five nights with return economy flights from JKIA on Qatar Airways, checked baggage and your Qatar tourist visa taken care of. You fly through Doha to Malé, where a shared speedboat takes you about 15 to 20 minutes to Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives, an adults only resort on its own island in the North Malé Atoll. You spend three nights in a Lagoon View Beach Villa with breakfast and dinner every day, then fly back to Doha for two nights at Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli, a short walk from Souq Waqif, before your flight home.
The island half is slow on purpose: the house reef, a boat trip in search of dolphins and a whole day with nothing booked. The Doha half brings a dhow on Doha Bay, the Museum of Islamic Art and a 4x4 safari to the Inland Sea. Every traveller needs a yellow fever certificate and a Maldives traveller declaration, and your Qatar visa must be approved before you fly, so your planner sorts all three with you. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Every Qatar Airways flight from Nairobi to the Maldives changes planes in Doha. This package turns that change of planes into part of the holiday. Instead of a long day of airports on the way home, you stop in Doha for two nights, see a city most couples only ever glimpse from a departure gate, and fly home rested.
We put the island first because it is what you will have been dreaming about. Three nights in a beach villa, with the lagoon at your door and dinner every evening, set the pace. Then the city comes as a contrast: lanes of spice stalls in Souq Waqif, the skyline from a wooden dhow and a drive through the dunes to a bay where the desert meets the sea.
Every connection is planned for you. Your planner books both hotels, the speedboat and your Doha transfers, applies for your Qatar visa, files your Maldives traveller declarations with you, checks your yellow fever certificates and answers on WhatsApp if a flight moves.

About Package
More information about this package
Island nights: Your first three nights are at Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives, an adults only resort on its own island in the North Malé Atoll, or a comparable resort confirmed at booking. The resort has four restaurants, a pool bar, a lobby bar, a spa and a dive and watersports centre.
Your villa: You stay in a Lagoon View Beach Villa of about 45 square metres, set on the sand with the lagoon at your door. It has a lounging area facing the water, a king bed or twin beds, a shower and a balcony or terrace.
Breakfast and dinner on the island: Breakfast is served at Oceans, the main restaurant. At dinner you choose between the international buffet at Oceans and a three course set menu at Suan Bua for Thai food, Al Khaimah for Middle Eastern food or La Brezza for Italian food. Each of you gets two drinks with dinner, one alcoholic and one soft drink. Lunch and other drinks are paid at the resort.
City nights: Your last two nights are at Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli, or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, beside Souq Waqif. Every room has a balcony, there is a temperature controlled outdoor pool, breakfast is included, and Souq Waqif and the Museum of Islamic Art are each about five minutes away. The hotel serves no alcohol.
The routing: You fly Qatar Airways both ways. Doha sits on the way home, so your two city nights need no extra flight and break the journey back to Nairobi in two. Malé is two hours ahead of Nairobi, and Doha runs on Nairobi time.
A speedboat, not a seaplane: The resort sits about 15 to 20 minutes from Malé airport by speedboat. A resort staff member meets you in the arrivals hall with a sign and walks you to the boat, so there is no waiting for a seaplane that only flies in daylight.
The reef and the dolphins: One shared boat trip by traditional dhoni in search of dolphins is included, and the resort's dive team has replanted a coral garden you can snorkel to from the shore. Trips run on the resort's own schedule and the dolphins are wild, so sightings are never promised.
Doha in a day and a half: A two hour cruise on a traditional wooden dhow on Doha Bay, a ticket to the Museum of Islamic Art and a shared 4x4 safari over the dunes to Khor Al Adaid, the Inland Sea, where the sand runs straight into a sheltered bay.
Built for married couples: Qatar's laws on relationships are stricter than the UAE's, and couples who are not married cannot legally share a hotel room in Doha. Carry your marriage certificate. If you are not yet married, our Maldives packages and our Dubai and Maldives trip are the better fit.
Three documents before you fly: Kenyans need a Qatar tourist visa for the Doha nights, which costs QAR 100 and is included in your price. We apply through the official Hayya platform once your hotels are confirmed, so allow at least three weeks, and approval rests with the Qatari authorities alone. Maldives tourist visas are granted on arrival, but every traveller must file a free Traveller Declaration on the official IMUGA website within 96 hours before arriving and again before leaving. Both the Maldives and Qatar require a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya, and airlines can refuse boarding without one. If you need the vaccine, get it at least 10 days before you travel.
Travel cover: The Gulf region remains tense, and airspace can close at short notice. We book changeable fares where the airline offers them, ask every couple to hold travel insurance that covers flight disruption, and tell you straight away if official travel advice changes before your trip.
Drinks and dress: The island resort serves alcohol and swimwear is fine anywhere on the island. Do not pack alcohol from duty free, as neither the Maldives nor Qatar allows visitors to bring it in. In Doha, alcohol is served only in licensed hotel venues to guests aged 21 and over, shoulders and knees stay covered in public, and affection stays private.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner sends your e tickets, visa approvals and vouchers, files your traveller declarations with you and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If something shifts on the ground, you message one person instead of three companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Doha and Maldives Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Flight times vary by date. This plan follows Qatar Airways, which leaves Nairobi just after midnight, connects in Doha and lands in Malé in the early afternoon, then brings you back to Doha for two nights before an afternoon flight home. Your planner confirms the exact flights on your written quote before you pay. The Museum of Islamic Art closes on Wednesdays, so if your Doha day falls on one, your planner switches your ticket to the National Museum of Qatar.
