Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli or similar

Four days in Doha from Nairobi with direct Qatar Airways flights, your Qatar visa, breakfast every morning beside Souq Waqif, two great museums, the dunes of the Inland Sea and a dhow on Doha Bay in one price.

Affordable Doha Package from Nairobi: four days and three nights in Qatar's capital with direct return economy flights from JKIA on Qatar Airways, checked baggage and your Qatar tourist visa taken care of. You stay three nights with breakfast at Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli, a short walk from Souq Waqif, with private airport transfers on arrival and departure. Your days take in the Museum of Islamic Art, the National Museum of Qatar, a desert safari by 4x4 to Khor Al Adaid, the Inland Sea, and a traditional dhow cruise on Doha Bay.

Built for married couples who want the Gulf at a calmer pace, it puts the flights, visa, hotel and the moments Doha is known for into one plan. Kenyan passport holders need a Qatar visa and a yellow fever certificate to fly, and your planner sorts both with you before anything is ticketed. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.

Doha is the Gulf city that rewards a slower trip. Five hours from JKIA, on the same clock as Nairobi, it gives you a heritage souq, two of the region's best museums and a desert where the dunes roll straight into the sea. This package turns that into a plan with one price, so you save towards a single number.

We base you in the old heart of the city on purpose. From Al Najada you walk to Souq Waqif in about five minutes, the Museum of Islamic Art is close by and the airport is about fifteen minutes away, so the first afternoon and the last morning are yours rather than spent in traffic.

The days are paced for two people on holiday. Each day holds one main moment, with time for the pool, the souq and a long dinner, and your planner checks your visa and yellow fever certificates before you fly and answers on WhatsApp if anything moves.

About Package

More information about this package

Your hotel: Three nights at Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli, or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, in the Al Najada quarter beside Souq Waqif. The hotel has 126 rooms and 25 suites, every room has a balcony, and rooms facing the piazza look out towards the Corniche and the Doha skyline.

Pool and breakfast: There is a temperature controlled outdoor pool and a gym, and breakfast is included every morning. Check in is from 3pm and check out is at noon.

An alcohol free hotel: Al Najada serves mocktails, soft drinks and coffee but no alcohol. In Qatar alcohol is served only in licensed hotel venues, to guests aged 21 and over with photo ID.

A location you can walk: Souq Waqif and the Museum of Islamic Art are each about five minutes away, Souq Waqif Metro station is within walking distance and Hamad International Airport is about fifteen minutes by car.

Two museums: Your tickets cover the Museum of Islamic Art, with fourteen centuries of art in a building on the water, and the National Museum of Qatar, shaped like a desert rose and telling the country's story from the pearl divers to today.

The Inland Sea: A shared 4x4 takes you about an hour south of Doha and over the dunes to Khor Al Adaid, where the sand runs straight into a sheltered bay. It is the moment most couples remember from Doha.

A dhow on Doha Bay: A two hour cruise on a traditional wooden dhow takes you along the Corniche and past the towers of West Bay in the late afternoon light.

Built for married couples: Qatar's laws on relationships are stricter than the UAE's, and couples who are not married cannot legally share a hotel room. Carry your marriage certificate. If you are not yet married, our Dubai and Abu Dhabi packages are the better fit.

Your visa and yellow fever certificate: Kenyans need a Qatar tourist visa, which costs QAR 100 and is included in your price. We apply through the official Hayya platform once your hotel is confirmed, so allow at least three weeks before you fly, and approval rests with the Qatari authorities alone. Qatar also requires a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya, and airlines can refuse boarding without one. If you need the vaccine, get it at least 10 days before you travel.

Travel cover: The region remains tense, and airspace can close at short notice. We book changeable fares where the airline offers them, ask every couple to hold travel insurance that covers flight disruption, and tell you straight away if official travel advice changes before your trip.

Dress and manners: Cover shoulders and knees in the souq, the museums and around the city. Keep affection private, and ask before you photograph anyone.

One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner sends your e tickets, visa approvals and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If something shifts on the ground, you message one person instead of three companies.

Package Itinerary

The package itinerary is as follows

Affordable Doha Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi

Flight times vary by date. This plan follows the Qatar Airways morning flight from Nairobi and the afternoon flight home, and your planner confirms the exact times on your written quote before you pay. The Museum of Islamic Art closes on Wednesdays and the National Museum of Qatar on Tuesdays, so your planner sets the museum days around them.

Day 1: Nairobi to Doha

Morning: Wheels Up from JKIA Your direct flight leaves JKIA in the morning, so reach the airport about three hours before departure. Carry your passports, printed Qatar visa approvals, yellow fever certificates, e tickets, hotel voucher and your marriage certificate. Settle in for about five hours in the air, with no change of clock when you land.

Afternoon: Into the Old Heart of Doha Land at Hamad International Airport in the early afternoon, clear immigration and meet your driver in the arrivals hall for the drive of about fifteen minutes to Al Najada. Check in opens at 3pm, time to unpack and step out onto your balcony.

Evening: Souq Waqif on Foot Walk five minutes to Souq Waqif and lose yourselves in its lanes of spice stalls, perfume sellers and small cafes. Choose somewhere in the souq for your first dinner together.

Overnight: Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli or similar Meals: None included

Day 2: Art and the Water

Morning: The Museum of Islamic Art After breakfast, walk or take a short taxi to the Museum of Islamic Art on the Corniche. Take your time with the galleries, then walk out into MIA Park for the view back across the bay to the West Bay towers.

Afternoon: Pool Hours Head back to the hotel for lunch at your own pace and an unhurried afternoon by the pool.

Evening: A Dhow on Doha Bay You are collected in the late afternoon for your two hour cruise on a traditional wooden dhow. Sail along the Corniche as the light softens over the towers, then head into the souq for dinner.

Overnight: Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli or similar Meals: Breakfast

Day 3: The Desert Rose and the Inland Sea

Morning: The National Museum of Qatar A short taxi ride takes you to the National Museum of Qatar, its curved discs shaped like the desert rose crystal. Walk through the story of Qatar, from the Bedouin and the pearl divers to the modern city.

Afternoon: Where the Desert Meets the Sea A 4x4 collects you from the hotel for the drive of about an hour south. Your driver takes you over the dunes to Khor Al Adaid, the Inland Sea, where the sand slopes straight down into the water. Camel rides and sandboarding are offered at extra cost at the desert stop.

Evening: Back in the City Return to Doha in the early evening, freshen up and finish with a walk along the Corniche and a last dinner together.

Overnight: Al Najada Doha Hotel by Tivoli or similar Meals: Breakfast

Day 4: Doha to Nairobi

Morning: One Last Stroll Take a slow breakfast and one last walk through the souq for spices, oud or dates to bring home. Check out by noon.

Afternoon: Flying Home Your driver takes you to Hamad International Airport for the afternoon flight of about five hours to Nairobi.

Evening: Landing at JKIA Touch down at JKIA in the evening, with the souq and the Inland Sea still fresh in your photos.
