Vacations

Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha and Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center Abu Dhabi or similar

Six days across two emirates from Nairobi: three nights in Dubai for the skyline, the Marina and the desert, then two nights in Abu Dhabi for the Grand Mosque, the Louvre and the presidential palace, in one price.

Affordable Dubai and Abu Dhabi Package from Nairobi: six days and five nights across the UAE with return economy flights from JKIA, checked baggage and your UAE tourist visa taken care of. You spend three nights at Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha for a city tour, Burj Khalifa At the Top, a Dubai Marina dhow dinner cruise and an evening desert safari. Then a private car takes you to Abu Dhabi, stopping at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque on the way, for two nights at Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center with tickets for the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan.

One UAE visa covers both cities, so you see two very different sides of the country on one trip: Dubai's energy and Abu Dhabi's calm, culture and architecture. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotels, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.

Most Kenyans who fly to Dubai never make the drive to Abu Dhabi, and it is the part of the UAE many visitors say they remember most. The capital is calmer than Dubai, greener along its waterfront and home to three of the most striking buildings in the region: the white marble Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi under its floating dome, and Qasr Al Watan, the working presidential palace that opens its halls to visitors.

We do the cities in the order that makes sense. Dubai first, because the flight lands there and the first days are for the big Dubai moments. Then Abu Dhabi, about an hour and a half down the coast road, where the pace slows for the last two nights. Your Dubai hotel in Al Barsha sits on the Abu Dhabi side of the city, which keeps that drive short.

The days are paced for a couple on holiday. Each day part holds one main moment, there is real time for the pool and the Corniche, and your planner answers on WhatsApp if a flight runs late or the plan needs to change.

Package Itinerary

The package itinerary is as follows

Affordable Dubai and Abu Dhabi Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi

Flight times vary by airline and travel date. This plan follows a morning flight to Dubai and an afternoon flight home, and your planner confirms the exact times on your written quote before you pay.

Day 1: Nairobi to Dubai

Morning: Wheels Up from JKIA Your flight to Dubai leaves JKIA in the early morning, so plan to reach the airport about three hours before departure with your passports, printed e visas and hotel vouchers in hand. Settle in for roughly five hours in the air together.

Afternoon: Landing in Dubai Clear immigration at Dubai International, collect your bags and meet your driver in the arrivals hall for the private drive to Al Barsha. Check in opens mid afternoon, giving you time to unpack and take a first look over the city from the rooftop.

Evening: A First Walk Together Stroll to Mall of the Emirates, a short walk from the hotel, and watch skiers glide down the slopes of Ski Dubai through the glass. Choose a place for dinner and keep the first night easy.

Overnight: Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha or similar Meals: None included

Day 2: Old Dubai and a New Skyline

Morning: The City in One Morning After breakfast, your guide collects you for a shared half day city tour. Stops vary by operator but usually take in the Al Fahidi historical quarter, a crossing of Dubai Creek and photo stops at landmarks such as Jumeirah Mosque and Burj Al Arab.

Afternoon: Rooftop Pool Hours Head back to the hotel and give the afternoon to the rooftop pool before the evening ahead.

Evening: Dinner on the Water You are collected for your dhow dinner cruise through Dubai Marina. For about two hours, the traditional wooden boat glides between illuminated towers while a buffet dinner is served.

Overnight: Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha or similar Meals: Breakfast and dinner

Day 3: Sky and Sand

Morning: Above the Clouds Ride the Metro Red Line from Mashreq to Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall station for your morning visit to At the Top. Step onto the outdoor terrace on Level 124 and stand together on the glass floor of Level 125.

Afternoon: Into the Dunes Back at the hotel, a 4x4 collects you mid afternoon for the drive into the desert. Your driver takes you over the red dunes, and most camps add a short camel ride and a chance to try sandboarding.

Evening: Dinner Under Desert Skies Settle into the desert camp for a BBQ buffet dinner with traditional live performances, then ride back to Dubai late in the evening.

Overnight: Hampton by Hilton Dubai Al Barsha or similar Meals: Breakfast and BBQ dinner

Day 4: Down the Coast to Abu Dhabi

Morning: The Coast Road After breakfast, check out and meet your private driver for the drive of about an hour and a half down the coast to Abu Dhabi.

Afternoon: The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Your driver stops at the Grand Mosque on the way into the city. Walk the white marble courtyards, look up at the domes and step inside the prayer hall under its chandeliers. Modest dress is required, so keep arms and legs covered, and the woman will need a headscarf.

Evening: The Corniche Check in at your Abu Dhabi hotel, then take an easy evening walk along the Corniche, the long waterfront promenade with the city's towers on one side and the Gulf on the other.

Overnight: Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center Abu Dhabi or similar Meals: Breakfast

Day 5: Art and the Palace

Morning: The Louvre Abu Dhabi Take a short taxi to Saadiyat Island for the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Walk through galleries that move from ancient civilisations to modern art, then stand under the great dome as light filters through its latticed roof.

Afternoon: Qasr Al Watan Continue to Qasr Al Watan, the presidential palace, for its Great Hall, the library and the gardens facing the sea.

Evening: Your Last Night in the UAE Choose a waterfront restaurant for a final dinner together, and take your time over it. There is no early start tomorrow.

Overnight: Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center Abu Dhabi or similar Meals: Breakfast

Day 6: Abu Dhabi to Nairobi

Morning: A Slow Breakfast Take your time over breakfast, check out late in the morning and meet your driver for the private drive back to Dubai International.

Afternoon: Flying Home Check in for your afternoon flight from Dubai to Nairobi, with time for a last look around the airport shops.

Evening: Landing at JKIA Touch down in Nairobi in the evening, with two cities' worth of stories to tell.

Meals: Breakfast
