Affordable Istanbul Package from Nairobi | 4 Days 3 Nights
Sirkeci Mansion or similar
Four days in Istanbul from Nairobi with direct Turkish Airlines flights, your Turkish visa, breakfast every morning a short walk from Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace, the Basilica Cistern and a cruise on the Bosphorus in one price.
Affordable Istanbul Package from Nairobi: four days and three nights in the city where Europe meets Asia, with direct return economy flights from JKIA on Turkish Airlines, checked baggage, your Turkish visa and the travel health insurance the visa requires all taken care of. You stay three nights with breakfast at Sirkeci Mansion, about ten minutes on foot from Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Square, with private airport transfers on arrival and departure. Your days take in the Byzantine mosaics of Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, Topkapı Palace with its Harem, the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar, and a cruise along the Bosphorus.
Built for couples who want a city with real history, good food and a shopping street in every direction, it puts the hardest parts of a Turkey trip into one plan: the visa appointment, the flights, the hotel and the tickets. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Istanbul is the trip for couples who want more than a beach. In three nights you walk under the dome of Hagia Sophia, step down into a Roman cistern lit in the dark, wander the courtyards where Ottoman sultans lived and finish a day on the water between two continents. It is about seven hours from JKIA on a direct flight, and the clocks match Nairobi's, so there is no time difference to recover from.
We base you in Sirkeci on purpose. The old city is on your doorstep, the tram and the Marmaray line are a few minutes from the lobby, and the ferries of Eminönü are down the hill. After a cold day on the cobbles, the hotel's indoor pool and hammam are there when you get back.
The days are paced for two people on holiday. Each day holds one or two main moments with time left for long breakfasts, Turkish tea and getting lost in the bazaar lanes. Your planner books the visa appointment with you, checks your documents before you go and answers on WhatsApp if anything moves.

About Package
More information about this package
Your hotel: Three nights at Sirkeci Mansion, or a comparable hotel confirmed at booking, a hotel of 32 rooms in Sirkeci, about ten minutes on foot from Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet Square.
Pool and hammam: The hotel has a heated indoor pool open from 10am to 10pm, a traditional hammam, a sauna and its own restaurant, Neyzade. A buffet breakfast is included every morning.
Easy to get around: Sirkeci Marmaray station is about three minutes on foot and the Sirkeci tram stop about five. Istanbul Airport is about 50 minutes by car, and your private transfers both ways are included.
Three Istanbul icons: Your tickets cover the upper gallery of Hagia Sophia with its Byzantine mosaics, the Basilica Cistern and Topkapı Palace with the Harem and Hagia Irene. The Blue Mosque is free to visit outside prayer times.
On the water: A shared sightseeing cruise from Eminönü takes you up the Bosphorus past palaces, waterfront mansions and the bridge between Europe and Asia.
Your Turkish visa: Most Kenyan couples need a visa from the Turkish Embassy in Nairobi. You apply online first, then each of you attends an appointment at the embassy with your documents, where the USD 60 fee is paid in cash. The fee is included in your price. Couples who already hold a valid sticker visa or residence permit for the Schengen area, the UK, the US or Ireland can use the official Turkish e Visa instead. Allow about four weeks before you fly, and approval rests with the Turkish authorities alone.
Travel health insurance: The embassy asks every applicant for travel health insurance covering the whole stay. It is included in your price and your planner sends the certificate with your visa documents.
Travel cover: Istanbul is open and busy with visitors. Like any big city it has pickpockets in the crowded areas and occasional demonstrations, which you should avoid. We book changeable fares where Turkish Airlines offers them and tell you straight away if official travel advice changes before you fly.
Dress and manners: Cover shoulders and knees in mosques, women cover their hair inside and shoes come off at the door. Keep affection modest in the old city.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner books your visa appointment with you, sends your e tickets, insurance and vouchers before you fly and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If something shifts on the ground, you message one person instead of three companies.
Package Itinerary
The package itinerary is as follows
Affordable Istanbul Package Itinerary with Baecation Adventures from Nairobi
Flight times change with the season. From late October, Turkish Airlines usually leaves JKIA before dawn and lands in Istanbul just before noon, and the flight home leaves Istanbul in the evening and lands at JKIA in the early hours. Your planner confirms the exact times on your written quote before you pay. Topkapı Palace closes on Tuesdays, the Grand Bazaar closes on Sundays and on the first days of religious holidays, Hagia Sophia's visitor route closes around Friday noon prayers, and the Blue Mosque pauses visits at prayer times, so your planner sets the days around them.
