Affordable Maldives Honeymoon Package from Nairobi | 6 Days 5 Nights
Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives or similar
Six days in the Maldives as newlyweds: three nights in a beach villa on the sand, two nights in a villa over the lagoon with steps down into the water, breakfast and dinner every day, a snorkelling trip and a dolphin trip, with your flights from Nairobi in one price.
Affordable Maldives Honeymoon Package from Nairobi: six days and five nights in the Maldives with return economy flights from JKIA through Doha and checked baggage. A shared speedboat takes you about 15 to 20 minutes from Malé airport to Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives, an adults only resort on its own island in the North Malé Atoll. You spend your first three nights in a Lagoon View Beach Villa on the sand, then move over the water for your last two nights in a Deluxe Overwater Villa, with breakfast and dinner every day.
Your first week as a married couple takes in the house reef, a shared snorkelling trip by dhoni, a dolphin trip and long stretches of time with nothing booked. Kenyan passport holders get their Maldives tourist visa on arrival, but every traveller must file an online traveller declaration before flying and carry a yellow fever certificate, and your planner sorts both with you. One price per person sharing covers the flights, hotel, transfers and every experience listed below, and one Baecation planner stays with you on WhatsApp from booking to landing home.
Most couples spend months planning the wedding and about a week planning the honeymoon. This package does that week of work for you, on an island where the only decisions left are which restaurant to book and when to get back in the water.
We split the stay on purpose. The first three nights are in a beach villa, where you can step straight from your terrace onto the sand and into the lagoon. Then you move across the island to a villa built over the water for your last two nights, with steps from your terrace down into the lagoon. Saving the overwater villa for the end means the trip keeps getting better instead of peaking on the first night.
We chose a resort close to the airport so the honeymoon starts on the day you land. Flights from Nairobi reach Malé in the early afternoon, and a speedboat of 15 to 20 minutes has you on the sand by mid afternoon, with no wait for a seaplane that only flies in daylight. Your planner files your traveller declarations with you, lets the resort know you are on honeymoon and answers on WhatsApp if a flight moves.

About Package
More information about this package
Your resort: Five nights at Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives, an adults only resort on its own island in the North Malé Atoll, or a comparable resort confirmed at booking. The resort has four restaurants, a pool bar, a lobby bar, a spa and a dive and watersports centre.
Beach nights: Your first three nights are in a Lagoon View Beach Villa of about 45 square metres, set on the sand with the lagoon at your door. It has a lounging area looking out across the water, a king bed or twin beds, a shower, a balcony or terrace and a minibar.
Overwater nights: Your last two nights are in a Deluxe Overwater Villa of about 42 square metres, set above the lagoon with steps leading down into the water. It has views across the Indian Ocean, a king bed or twin beds, a shower and a balcony or terrace. You move villas on Day 4, and the resort holds your bags between check out and check in.
Breakfast and dinner every day: Breakfast is served at Oceans, the main restaurant. At dinner you choose between the international buffet at Oceans and a three course set menu at Suan Bua for Thai food, Al Khaimah for Middle Eastern food or La Brezza for Italian food. Each of you gets two drinks with dinner, one alcoholic and one soft drink. Lunch and other drinks are paid at the resort, or you can add Full Board Plus below.
Two boat trips: A shared snorkelling trip by traditional dhoni takes you to reefs beyond the island, where turtles, stingrays and reef sharks are often seen, and a shared trip in search of dolphins takes you out across the atoll. Both run on the resort's own schedule, and wildlife sightings are never promised.
The house reef: The resort's dive team has replanted a coral garden that you can snorkel to from the shore. Snorkel gear can be hired at the resort, or bring your own masks.
Flights through Doha: You fly overnight from JKIA to Doha and on to Malé, landing in the early afternoon. On the way home you leave Malé in the morning and land at JKIA the same evening. Malé is two hours ahead of Nairobi.
Two documents before you fly: Tourist visas are granted on arrival in the Maldives, with no application in advance. Every traveller must file a free Traveller Declaration on the official IMUGA website within 96 hours before arriving and again before leaving, and the Maldives requires a yellow fever certificate from travellers arriving from Kenya. Your planner files the declarations with you. If you do not have a yellow fever card yet, get vaccinated at least 10 days before you travel.
Weather: January to March is the driest time of year. From May to November the southwest monsoon brings more rain, usually as short showers with sunshine in between, and resort prices are often lower.
Drinks and dress: The resort serves alcohol and swimwear is fine anywhere on the island. Malé and the local islands are alcohol free and expect shoulders and knees to be covered, which matters only if you add a visit there. Do not pack alcohol from duty free, as Maldives customs does not allow it into the country.
One planner, start to finish: Your Baecation planner sends your e tickets and resort voucher, files your traveller declarations with you, checks your yellow fever certificates, lets the resort know you are on honeymoon and stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout. Any honeymoon touches the resort chooses to offer are its gift and are not guaranteed.
