This experience spends its middle day inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy, working toward exactly that: a sundowner on the plains as the light turns gold and then orange, Mount Kenya's outline visible on the horizon behind you.
Everything before that, the rhino sanctuary, the chimpanzees, the drive itself, builds naturally toward the moment without needing to be staged. You're based in comfortable, unpretentious Nanyuki town for the two nights either side of it, so the proposal gets the setting it deserves without the trip needing six months of saving to afford.

Two nights at Falcon Heights Hotel, Nanyuki, or similar. A well reviewed hotel in Nanyuki town with a pool and breakfast included, an easy, low key base either side of the main event.
A full day inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy, timed to end at golden hour. The rhino sanctuary and chimpanzee sanctuary in the earlier part of the day, then a game drive paced to have you out on the plains as the light turns gold.
A sundowner stop on the plains built into the afternoon. A quiet stop with drinks as the sun goes down, Mount Kenya visible on the horizon, the natural point in the day to ask.
Private return transfer via Bamm Tours. Road only for this route, roughly 195 km from Nairobi via Thika and Karatina on the A2, about three to four hours each way, discreet and door to door.
Optional add-ons that support the moment without overstaging it. A photographer or a private lunch at Trout Tree Restaurant can both be arranged, but neither is forced into the package by default.
An optional upgrade if you want to extend the celebration. A "Sleep in the Conservancy" night can be added on request for the night after the question is asked.

The package itinerary is as follows

Day 1 — Pickup: 8:00 AM from your Nairobi address or hotel.
Morning: Departure north on the A2 through Thika and Karatina, Mount Kenya coming into view as you approach Nanyuki.
Afternoon: Check in to Falcon Heights and take the afternoon easy, settling in and letting any nerves ease off.
Evening: Dinner in Nanyuki town, an early night ahead of tomorrow's full day at Ol Pejeta.
Day 2
Morning: Breakfast, then into Ol Pejeta Conservancy for the rhino sanctuary, home to Najin and Fatu, and the chimpanzee sanctuary.
Afternoon: A game drive across the conservancy, paced to run into the late afternoon light.
Evening: A quiet sundowner stop on the plains as the sun goes down, Mount Kenya on the horizon behind you. This is where most couples choose to ask, though there's no obligation to time it to any particular moment, the whole afternoon is built for it.
Day 3
Morning: A relaxed breakfast and a last look at Mount Kenya before check out.
Afternoon: Departure back to Nairobi, arriving mid to late afternoon, with the engagement news having roughly three to four hours of car ride to properly sink in.
