4 days is enough time to actually see the region rather than rush through it: tea plantations rolling out on either side of the road, a rhino sanctuary at Solio Ranch that's one of the more overlooked wildlife experiences in the country, waterfalls tucked into the forest, and the signature night at Treetops, watching a floodlit waterhole from the same kind of tree hotel that's been drawing travelers to the Aberdares for nearly a century.
It's based out of Outspan Hotel in Nyeri town for the bulk of the stay, which keeps things simple and central, with one night up at Treetops for the part of Nyeri that can't be found anywhere else.

More information about this package
Two nights at Outspan Hotel, or similar, as your base. A historic property in Nyeri town, central for day trips to Solio Ranch and the surrounding tea estates, with gardens and Mount Kenya views on a clear morning.
One night at Treetops, or similar, as the signature inclusion. Reached only by a mandatory transfer in the lodge's own vehicle from Outspan, fixed early-afternoon departure, no self-driving permitted.
Floodlit waterhole viewing included at Treetops. The lodge looks directly onto its own waterhole and salt lick, lit through the night, with a buzzer system if larger game come down to drink.
Rhino tracking at Solio Ranch built into the itinerary. Solio is a private rhino sanctuary near Nyeri with both black and white rhino present; tracking is priced on request and arranged as part of the stay.
Tea plantation tour included. A guided look at how the tea that grows alongside the A2 actually gets from bush to cup, priced on request and built into one of the free days.
Private return transfer via Bamm Tours for the full route. Road only, about 150 km from Nairobi via Karatina on the A2, roughly two and a half to three hours each way.

Day 1
8:00 AM — Pickup from your Nairobi address or hotel, departure north on the A2.
10:30 AM — Arrival at Outspan Hotel, check in.
11:00 AM to 3:00 PM — Free time: garden walks, Baden-Powell's cottage and grave on the grounds.
7:00 PM — Dinner at Outspan.
Day 2
8:00 AM — Breakfast, then a half-day tea plantation tour.
1:00 PM — Lunch, then the afternoon free or an optional hiking tour (Kihuri Riverline, Njigari Forest, Gatango or Zaina Falls).
7:00 PM — Dinner at Outspan.
Day 3
7:00 AM — Early breakfast, then rhino tracking at Solio Ranch.
1:00 PM — Return to Outspan for lunch, then transfer up to Treetops in the lodge's own vehicle.
7:00 PM — Dinner at the lodge, followed by evening waterhole viewing after dark.
Day 4
7:00 AM — Breakfast and a final look at the waterhole in daylight.
9:00 AM — Transfer back down to Outspan, then departure for Nairobi.
Arrival back in Nairobi mid to late afternoon.
