Day 1: Into the Mara
Pickup: 6:00 AM from your Nairobi residence or hotel.
Morning Your driver-guide collects the family at 6:00 AM for the drive out to Sarova Mara Game Camp, roughly 260 km and about 5 hours by road. Since this is a private vehicle, we build in stops as your family needs them, not on a fixed schedule.
Afternoon Arrival at Sarova Mara Game Camp in the early afternoon, with time to settle into your family tent, have lunch, and let the kids explore the pool or play area before the first game drive.
Evening A gentle first game drive as the day cools, then back to camp for dinner. With entertainment staff on hand at the lodge, parents can also arrange a little downtime of their own once the children are settled.
Day 2: A Full Day in the Reserve
Morning An early game drive while the plains are at their most active, paced to suit your family and shortened at any point if needed.
Afternoon Back at camp for lunch, then free time: the pool, the play area, or simply resting through the heat of the day while the kids make use of the lodge's activities.
